Bio

I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Political Science at Miami University. My specialization is in comparative politics, political economy and research methodology. My research interests include welfare state retrenchment, industrial relations and political ideology, with regional specialization in Western Europe and North America.
I earned my B.A. in political science from Boston University and my M.A. in politics from New York University. After finishing my M.A., I joined AmeriCorps to assist in the Hurricane Sandy recovery effort in New York City. I returned to Boston University to earn my PhD. I currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio with my brilliant wife and our lazy cat.
